BRICS, un concept statistique devenu une force politico-économique mondiale organisée
Résumé
Les BRICS (Brésil, Russie,, Chine, Inde, Afrique du Sud) deviennent une force importante dans le concert international des Nations. Grand pays très peuplés, ils ont parfois été l’exemple des pays en développement avec de la famine endémique (Inde), des structures de production socialistes (Russie) ou communistes (Chine), l’apartheid (Afrique du Sud) ou les dictatures militaires (Brésil). Aujourd’hui, ils exercent à différents titres un poids très important dans le concert internationale, notamment la Chine (dont les conflits avec les Etats-Unis font parler de Chinamérique), la Russie (puissance nucléaire), l’Inde (et son milliard d’habitant), le Brésil (et son poids sur l’Amérique latine) et l’Afrique du Sud, grande puissance économique et morale (Mandela) de l’Afrique. Cependant, ces pays n’ont pas toujours des intérêts communs et leur entente ne peut être que circonstancielle.
The BRICS (Brazil, Russia, China, India, South Africa) are becoming an important force in the international concert of Nations. Large country with large populations, they have sometimes been the example of developing countries with endemic famine (India), socialist (Russia) or communist (China) production structures, apartheid (South Africa) or dictatorships military (Brazil). Today, they exert very different weight in the international concert, in particular China (whose conflicts with the United States make talk about ChinAmerica), Russia (nuclear power), India (and its billion inhabitant), Brazil (and its weight over Latin America) and South Africa, great economic and moral power (Mandela) of Africa. However, these countries do not always have common interests and their understanding can only be circumstantial.
